Share the love of Jesus through the power of a simple gift

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Their mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. They ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.
The ladies at our church made little cute stuffed animals for the shoeboxes. Every child loves little stuffed bear to cuddle with. Here are some pictures showing the hard work that the ladies are doing to make a child happy.

Our goal is to pack and ship 150 shoe boxes this year. It looks like we will exceed our goal thanks to the generosity from our congregation and the hard work from our own Patsy Moore the OCC coordinator, Final count is 211 shoe boxes. Praise God!
